Dr. Bhatnagar completed his bachelor’s degree at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. Shortly after, he earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies.
He then completed his residency in internal medicine at The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in Flushing, New York. Eager to learn, he completed his fellowship in critical care, pulmonary medicine, and sleep medicine, successfully receiving certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Accomplished in his work, Dr. Bhatnagar holds memberships with the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Medical Association. In coordination with his colleagues, he has published several articles regarding cardiovascular responses to microinjections of certain amino acids and trends in gastrointestinal bleeding.
